Skills required
  • Several years’ experience, including some management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge and understanding of Vietnamese healthcare market and hospitals’ equipment purchasing process
  • Understanding of the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and willingness to operate entirely within FCPA guidelines
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills
  • Strong English language skills (verbal and written)
  • Responsive in communications over email and telephone
  • Flexible and willing to learn

What you will do

   The Chief Representative will report directly to the President of Company. His/her primary responsibility is to collaborate closely with Company to represent the company in interactions with customers, business partners, government entities, banks and other relevant parties in Vietnam. He/she is responsible for identifying and reaching out to potential business partners and customers, developing those relationships into business opportunities, and managing those relationships to ensure customer satisfaction. The Chief Representative supports ongoing projects by requesting quotes from suppliers, preparing necessary documents for tender bids, and communicating between Company, the suppliers, and the customer. As the position will evolve together with the Company business in Vietnam, the ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, flexible, knowledgeable about Vietnam’s healthcare market, and possess strong English language skills.

Job responsibilities:
  • Representing Company in interactions with customers (hospitals), business partners (distributors manufacturers), banks, government officials, and all other relevant parties based primarily in Vietnam
  • Utilizing networking and marketing techniques to identify and attract potentially interested hospitals
  • Meeting repeatedly with potential customers to cultivate relationships, build trust, and educate about Company's procurement and finance programs
  • Developing and managing relationships with potential business partners, including medical device distributors and Vietnam-based representatives of US medical device companies
  • Coordinating with Company and the US Embassy and Consulate to organize educational seminars for Vietnamese hospitals to learn about Company's procurement and finance programs
  • Preparing bilingual marketing materials for use in client meetings and other marketing venues as appropriate
  • Supporting the tendering process by requesting quotes from suppliers, preparing and submitting necessary tender documents
  • Acting as liaison between Company, the customer, and relevant suppliers to resolve any issues that may arise and ensure customer satisfaction
